The Lemurian Star serves as the heart-pounding backdrop for the thrilling opening sequence in the film where Captain America leads fellow Avenger Black Widow and his select team of S.H.I.E.L.D. Batroc the Leaper is not exactly new.

Batroc, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appeared in Tales of Suspense #75 in March 1966. He has reappeared in various Marvel titles ever since.

It made me smile in view of the geopolitical situations in Africa and Eastern Europe but I guess the authors didn't see those ones coming. (And I don't like when actors speak French in US movies; and I would only watch this movie when it will be aired on TV and only because of the Black Widow.
